Our Mission Call Came

Our mission call finally came and we are so excited.  We received our mission call on Wednesday, December 14.  Our loyal Post Office people called to tell us it was here.  We told them we would pick it up soon.  We waited to open our call until 5:00 so that most of our family could join in on a bridge call.  We had some friends and family with us in our home as we opened our call.  We were very nervous but excited.
We have been called to serve for one year in the New Mexico Farmington Mission.  We are called as member support missionaries and other duties as the Mission President desires.  We are to enter the MTC in Provo, Utah on Monday, January 16.  Calvin continued to say that once we opened our mission call two questions would be answered, where we would go and when, but then we would have many more questions about our assignment and he was correct.
The area of our mission includes the four corner region of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico, with the majority of the mission in Arizona and most of that is Indian Reservation country.  This is our first mission where we have not know immediately what town or city we would be living in.  We may travel to several areas in the mission, or we may be assigned to one location.  More information will follow as we gain answers to our questions.
